{"id":2081,"date":"2016-10-11T02:47:08","date_gmt":"2016-10-11T02:47:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fundarte.gob.ve\/web\/2016\/10\/11\/fallece-el-icono-de-la-dramaturgia-venezolana-carlos-herrera\/"},"modified":"2016-10-11T02:47:08","modified_gmt":"2016-10-11T02:47:08","slug":"fallece-el-icono-de-la-dramaturgia-venezolana-carlos-herrera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundarte.gob.ve\/web\/2016\/10\/11\/fallece-el-icono-de-la-dramaturgia-venezolana-carlos-herrera\/","title":{"rendered":"Fallece el \u00edcono de la dramaturgia venezolana Carlos Herrera."},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Caracas, 11 de octubre de 2016.-<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\"> El teatro venezolano pierde una de sus grandes figuras, Carlos Herrera, un gran apasionado por las tablas quien tuviera una impecable trayectoria profesional y dedicara toda su vida a la investigaci&oacute;n y el crecimiento de las artes esc&eacute;nicas en el pa&iacute;s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Carlos Herrera<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;naci&oacute; el 2 de febrero de 1957<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">, fue un<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">destacado profesor universitario, y&nbsp;presidente de la Asociaci&oacute;n Venezolana de Cr&iacute;tica Teatral (Avencrit), falleci&oacute; a causa de un ataque card&iacute;aco la ma&ntilde;ana del 10 de octubre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Su carrera inici&oacute; en la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) donde obtuvo el t&iacute;tulo de &nbsp;Licenciado en Artes, posteriormente obtuvo una maestr&iacute;a en la ciencia de Arte Esc&eacute;nico del Teatro Latinoamericano.&nbsp;Parte de su formaci&oacute;n en direcci&oacute;n teatral y dramaturgia estuvo a cargo de los maestros Herman Lejter y Juan Carlos Gen&eacute;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Se destac&oacute; como asistente en m&aacute;s de 20 montajes teatrales de dramaturgos nacionales e internacionales, entre ellos Jos&eacute; Cabrujas, Ugo Ulive, Armando Gota y Antonio Constante.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Su fervor por el teatro lo impuls&oacute;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">&nbsp;a desempe&ntilde;arse como profesor y&nbsp;Coordinador de Investigaci&oacute;n Teatral&nbsp;en la&nbsp;&nbsp;Universidad Nacional Experimental De Las Artes (Unearte).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Sum&oacute; sus logros como investigador a la organizaci&oacute;n del Festival Municipal de Teatro&nbsp;entre los a&ntilde;os 1992 y 1997. Fue prologuista de diferentes libros de dramaturgos venezolanos. Adem&aacute;s autor de varios libros, entre los que destacan &ldquo;Apuntes para armar una visi&oacute;n del pa&iacute;s teatral&rdquo; y&nbsp;&ldquo;Ensayos, cr&oacute;nicas y cr&iacute;ticas sobre Teatro venezolano&rdquo;, del Fondo Editorial Fundarte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Parte de su trabajo como escritor fue publicado en diversos medios de comunicaci&oacute;n, tanto nacionales como internacionales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Adicionalmente, particip&oacute; como Director de artes esc&eacute;nicas en la Fundaci&oacute;n para la Cultura y las Artes (Fundarte) y colabor&oacute; para las diferentes actividades del Festival de Teatro de Caracas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;
