Fue creada en octubre de 1975 con el prop&oacute;sito de apoyar a la ciudadan&iacute;a caraque&ntilde;a en los procesos de formaci&oacute;n en artes y oficios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Desde la llegada del Alcalde Jorge Rodr&iacute;guez en 2009, Fundarte se ha redimensionado y es ahora un referente cultural para la ciudad, ofreciendo eventos y espect&aacute;culos de calidad para el disfrute y el enriquecimiento de la poblaci&oacute;n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Muestra de este sostenido esfuerzo son los Festivales de Teatro de Caracas y el Festival Latinoamericano de M&uacute;sica &ldquo;Suena Caracas&rdquo;, adem&aacute;s de emprender el rescate del Fondo Editorial Fundarte y la realizaci&oacute;n de la Feria del Libro de Caracas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Durante el a&ntilde;o la ciudad recibe una propuesta cultural y recreativa en los distintos espacios recuperados por la Alcald&iacute;a de Caracas, desde los teatros recuperados con el Circuito Teatral; y en los parques y plazas con las actividades que programa, de la mano con las comunidades organizadas en todas las parroquias de la capital, la Brigada Miguel Vicente Pata Caliente.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;
